Investigation: How Randomization in AI Allocation Strategies Can Lead to More Equitable Outcomes Machine-learning models are becoming more prevalent in organizations for the efficient distribution of scarce resources and o pportunities. These models are employed, for instance, to streamline resume screening processes in recruitment or to rank kidney transplant patients in hospitals according to their chances of survival.
