NBC Universal CEO Jeff Shell has been removed from his position due to an inappropriate relationship with a woman. The news came just a few days after Comcast Corporation announced that Shell would be leaving the company. The inappropriate relationship was reportedly with a female employee of NBC Universal.

Comcast Corporation, which owns NBC Universal, has not commented on the reason for Shell's departure from the company. However, it is reported that the decision was made after an investigation into Shell's behavior.

Shell has been with NBCUniversal for over six years and was appointed as CEO in January 2020. He previously served as the chairman of Universal Filmed Entertainment Group and was responsible for overseeing the company's movie and television studios.

Comcast Corporation has appointed Mark Lazarus, the current chairman of NBC Universal television and streaming, as the new CEO of NBC Universal. The company has expressed its confidence in Lazarus's ability to lead the company and drive growth in the future.
